About Me

I am committed to establishing a solid connection right from the first consultation. I believe that our mental and physical health are intertwined, and my approach to therapy involves all aspects of a person. Together, we work toward building an understanding and overcoming life’s challenges.
Stacey McDonald is a Mental Health Therapist; she’s also a wife, mother, aunt, friend and active community member. Stacey is a Canadian Certified Counsellor (C.C.C) with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA), a Registered Psychotherapist – Qualifying (RP-Q) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO). In addition, she is registered as a Counselling Therapist (CT) with the Association of Counselling Therapy of Alberta (ACTA) which is the precursor organization to the soon to be proclaimed College of Counselling Therapy of Alberta (CCTA).
Stacey received her Anger Management Specialists II (AMS-II) certification with the National Anger Management Association (NAMA). She is also a certified Grief Recovery Specialist with the Grief Recovery Institute as well as being a certified Root Cause Therapist (RCT) with The Centre For Healing. Stacey is constantly striving to learn and be proficient in multiple modalities so that she can effectively guide you through your therapeutic journey with an approach tailored to your specific and unique needs.
